⁶ But now we have been released from the law, since we have died to what held us, so that we may serve in the newness of the Spirit^(A) and not in the old letter of the law.

¹⁵ For^[a] both circumcision and uncircumcision^(A) mean nothing; what matters instead is a new creation.^(B)

²³ to be renewed^[a] in the spirit^(A) of your minds, ²⁴ and to put on^[b](B) the new self, the one created^(C) according to God’s likeness^(D) in righteousness and purity of the truth.

¹⁰ and have put on^(A) the new self. You are being renewed in knowledge according to the image of your^[a] Creator.^(B)
