²Many are saying about me,
“·God won’t rescue him [^LThere is no salvation for him in God].” ·Selah [Interlude]

³But, Lord, you are my shield [^Cprotector],
my ·wonderful God [^Lglory] who ·gives me courage [^Llifts up my head].
⁴I will ·pray [^Llift my voice] to the Lord,
and he will answer me from his holy mountain [^CZion, the location of the Temple]. ·Selah [Interlude]
