⁶ I am sure of this, that he who started a good work^(A) in you^[a] will carry it on to completion^(B) until the day of Christ Jesus.

⁵ It is clear evidence of God’s righteous^(A) judgment^(B) that you will be counted worthy of God’s kingdom, for which you also are suffering,^(C)

¹⁷ In this, love is made complete with us so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment,^(A) because as he is, so also are we in this world.^(B)
