²⁸ Truly I tell you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”^(A)

²⁸ Jesus said to them, “Truly I tell you, in the renewal of all things,^(A) when the Son of Man sits on his glorious throne,^(B) you who have followed me will also sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

The Sheep and the Goats

³¹ “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels^[a](A) with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne.^(B)

³⁴ Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; inherit the kingdom^(A) prepared for you from the foundation of the world.^(B)

⁴² Then he said, “Jesus, remember me^[a](A) when you come into your kingdom.”^(B)
