Luke 9:26-28
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition

26 Because whoever is ashamed of Me and of My teachings, of him will the Son of Man be ashamed when He comes in the [[a]threefold] glory (the splendor and majesty) of Himself and of the Father and of the holy angels.

27 However I tell you truly, there are some of those standing here who will not taste death before they see the kingdom of God.

28 Now about eight days after these teachings, Jesus took with Him Peter and John and James and went up on the mountain to pray.
