⁷ If my step hath turned out of the way, or mine heart hath ^[a]walked after mine eye, or if any blot hath cleaved to mine hands,

⁸ Let me sow, and let another ^[b]eat: yea, let my plants be rooted out.

⁹ If mine heart hath been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at the door of my neighbor,
