Isaiah 52:7-9

International Standard Version

⁷“How beautiful^[a] on the mountains
    are the feet of the one who brings news of peace,^[b]
who announces good things,
    who announces salvation,^[c]
        who says to Zion, ‘Your God reigns!’
⁸Listen! Your watchmen lift up their voices,^[d]
    together they sing for joy;
for they will see in plain sight
    the return of the Lord to Zion with compassion.^[e]

⁹“Break forth together into singing,^[f]
you ruins of Jerusalem;
for the Lord has comforted his people,
and^[g] he has redeemed Jerusalem.
