¹⁸ And it shall be
That he who flees from the noise of the fear
Shall fall into the pit,
And he who comes up from the midst of the pit
Shall be ^[a]caught in the snare;
For ^(A)the windows from on high are open,
And ^(B)the foundations of the earth are shaken.

^43 (A)Fear and the pit and the snare shall be upon you,
O inhabitant of Moab,” says the Lord.

⁴⁴ “He who flees from the fear shall fall into the pit,
And he who gets out of the pit shall be caught in the ^(A)snare.
For upon Moab, upon it ^(B)I will bring
The year of their punishment,” says the Lord.
