² And ^(A)the Lord was with Joseph, so he became a ^[a]successful man. And he was in the house of his master, the Egyptian.

³ Now his master ^(A)saw that the Lord was with him and that the Lord ^(B)made all that he did prosper in his hand.

^23 (A)The warden of the prison did not supervise anything ^[a]under Joseph’s authority, because ^(B)the Lord was with him; and, ^(C)the Lord made whatever he did prosper.

²⁷ So ^(A)the Lord was with Joshua, and his ^(B)fame was in all the land.

¹⁸ Then one of the young men responded and said, “Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite who is a skillful musician, ^(A)a valiant mighty man, a warrior, skillful in speech, and a handsome man; and ^(B)the Lord is with him.”
