⁸ Then he proceeded from there to the mountain on the east of Bethel, and pitched his tent with ^(A)Bethel on the west and Ai on the east; and there he built an altar to the Lord and ^(B)called upon the name of the Lord.

³ And he went ^[a]on his journeys from the ^[b]Negev as far as Bethel, to the place where his tent had been at the beginning, ^(A)between Bethel and Ai,

¹⁸ Then Abram moved his tent and came and lived by the ^[a](A)oaks of Mamre, which are in Hebron; and there he built ^(B)an altar to the Lord.

18 Now ^(A)the Lord appeared to ^[a]Abraham by the ^[b](B)oaks of Mamre, while he was sitting at the tent door in the heat of the day.

⁹ Then they said to him, “Where is your wife Sarah?” And he said, “There, in the tent.”
