^2 (A)I will make you a great nation;
^(B)I will bless you
And make your name great;
^(C)And you shall be a blessing.

^3 (A)I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in ^(B)you all the families of the earth shall be ^(C)blessed.”

⁹ Therefore, as I live,”
Says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel,
“Surely ^(A)Moab shall be like Sodom,
And ^(B)the people of Ammon like Gomorrah—
^(C)Overrun^[a] with weeds and saltpits,
And a ^[b]perpetual desolation.
The residue of My people shall plunder them,
And the remnant of My people shall possess them.”
