¹⁹ Then he measured across to the wall on the other side of this court (which was called “the outer court” of the Temple)^[a] and found that the distance was 175 feet. ²⁰ As I followed, he left the eastern passageway and went over to the passage through the northern wall and measured it. ²¹ Here, too, there were three guardrooms on each side, and all the measurements were the same as for the east passageway—87-1/2 feet long and 43-3/4 feet from side to side across the top of the guardrooms.
