¹² For ^(A)I will go through the land of Egypt on that night, and fatally strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the human firstborn to animals; and ^(B)against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgments—^(C)I am the Lord.

¹² And ^[a]I shall set fire to the temples of the ^(A)gods of Egypt, and he will burn them and take them captive. So he will ^[b](B)wrap himself with the land of Egypt as a shepherd ^[c]wraps himself with his garment, and he will depart from there safely.

¹³ He will also smash to pieces the ^[a]obelisks of ^[b]Heliopolis, which is in the land of Egypt; and the temples of the gods of Egypt he will burn with fire.”’”

¹³ ‘This is what the Lord God says:

¹¹ The Lord will be ^(A)terrifying to them, for He will ^[a]starve ^(B)all the gods of the earth; and all the ^(C)coastlands of the nations will ^(D)bow down to Him, everyone from his own place.
