¹⁶ And ^(A)I looked, and behold, you had sinned against the Lord your God. You had made yourselves a golden^[a] calf. ^(B)You had turned aside quickly from the way that the Lord had commanded you.

¹⁸ Even ^(A)when they had made for themselves a golden^[a] calf and said, ‘This is your God who brought you up out of Egypt,’ ^(B)and had committed great blasphemies,

⁴¹ And ^(A)they made a calf in those days, and offered a sacrifice to the idol and ^(B)were rejoicing in ^(C)the works of their hands.

³ And he restored the 1,100 pieces of silver to his mother. And his mother said, “I dedicate the silver to the Lord from my hand for my son, to make ^(A)a carved image and ^(B)a metal image. Now therefore I will restore it to you.” ⁴ So when he restored the money to his mother, his mother ^(C)took 200 pieces of silver and gave it to the silversmith, who made it into a carved image and a metal image. And it was in the house of Micah.
