¹⁶ For Paul had decided to sail past Ephesus, so that he might not have to spend time in Asia, for he was hastening ^(A)to be at Jerusalem, if possible, ^(B)on the day of Pentecost.

²² And now, behold, I am going to Jerusalem, constrained ^(A)by^[a] the Spirit, not knowing what will happen to me there,

²⁵ At present, however, ^(A)I am going to Jerusalem bringing aid to the saints.

¹⁶ I wanted to visit you ^(A)on my way to Macedonia, and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on my way to Judea.

³ And when I arrive, I will send ^(A)those whom you accredit by letter to carry your gift to Jerusalem. ⁴ If it seems advisable that I should go also, they will accompany me.
