24 During Jehoiakim’s reign, Nebuchadnezzar^(A) king of Babylon invaded^(B) the land, and Jehoiakim became his vassal for three years. But then he turned against Nebuchadnezzar and rebelled.^(C)

⁶ Nebuchadnezzar^(A) king of Babylon attacked him and bound him with bronze shackles to take him to Babylon.^(B)

¹¹ But when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon invaded^(A) this land, we said, ‘Come, we must go to Jerusalem^(B) to escape the Babylonian^[a] and Aramean armies.’ So we have remained in Jerusalem.”
