²¹ And all the people of Judah took ^(A)Azariah,^[a] who was sixteen years old, and made him king instead of his father Amaziah.

²² He built ^(A)Elath^[a] and restored it to Judah, after ^[b]the king rested with his fathers.

15 In the twenty-seventh year of Jeroboam king of Israel, ^(B)Azariah the son of Amaziah, king of Judah, ^(C)became king. ² He was sixteen years old when he became king, and he reigned fifty-two years in Jerusalem. His mother’s name was Jecholiah of Jerusalem. ³ And he did what was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that his father Amaziah had done,
