¹⁰ He replied, “I have been very zealous^(A) for the Lord God of Hosts, but the Israelites have abandoned Your covenant,^(B) torn down Your altars,^(C) and killed Your prophets^(D) with the sword. I alone am left,^(E) and they are looking for me to take my life.”^(F)

⁸ They replied, “A hairy man with a leather belt around his waist.”^(A)
