⁷ Moreover, the word of the Lord through ^(A)the prophet Jehu the son of Hanani came against Baasha and his household, both because of all the evil that he did in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger with ^(B)the work of his hands, by being like the house of Jeroboam, and because ^(C)he struck ^[a]it.

^2 (A)And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him and said to King Jehoshaphat, “^(B)Should you help the wicked and love those who hate the Lord, and ^[a](C)by doing so bring wrath on yourself from the Lord?

³⁴ Now the rest of the acts of Jehoshaphat, first ^[a]to last, behold, they are written in the annals of ^(A)Jehu the son of Hanani, which is ^[b]recorded in the Book of the Kings of Israel.
