1 Chronicles 11:7-9

⁷ Then David lived in the stronghold; therefore it was called the city of David. ⁸ He ^[a]built the city all around, from the ^[b]Millo to the surrounding area; and Joab ^[c]repaired the rest of the city. ^9 (A)And David became greater and greater, for the Lord of armies was with him.
