7 For thou Lord of thy goodness hadst made my [a]mountain to stand strong: but thou didst hide thy face, and I [b]was troubled.
8 Then cried I unto thee, O Lord, and prayed to my Lord.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit! shall the [c]dust give thanks unto thee? or shall it declare thy truth?
