²⁸ The people asked Jesus, “What ·are the things God wants us to do [^Lshould we do to work the works of God]?”

²⁹ Jesus answered, “·The work God wants you to do is this [^LThis is the work of God]: Believe the One he sent.”

³⁰ So ·the people [^Lthey] asked, “What ·miracle will you do? If we see a miracle, we will believe you [^Lsign will you do that we might see and believe you?]. What ·will you do [work will you perform]?
